Effective June 1, 2003, PFI Process Servers (PFI)
began acting on behalf of the United States Central Authority, US Department of Justice (USDOJ),
under Contract # 03-C-0655. PFI shall manage all formal service of process for the U.S. on judicial
documents under the following treaties and conventions:
Hague Service Convention, Inter-American Convention, and Letters Rogatory.

PFI acting on behalf of the U.S. Central Authority: Formal service through the U.S. Central Authority is
the only recognized method of process service under these treaties and conventions. Under this 5-year
contract, PFI shall perform all duties of the United States Central Authority with respect to process
service.
PFI is the only means of obtaining Formal Service: PFI shall be the only means recognized
under these treaties and international service conventions as "formal service". PFI shall hold the only
official certificate in conformity with formal service under the Hague Service Convention and is
the only means to get the official seal of the U.S. Central Authority on your certificate of
service return.
